Converse

Usually charts are reviewed with a view to the future, going forward in time, but converse simply means going backward in time. The term usually applies to Converse progressions and directions are calculated in just the same way but applied to the past. I.e. 20 days prior to birth represents aged 20 years in the case of a progressed or directed chart.
