Chiron’s natal/discovery chart; 18 October 1977, 9: 08 :30am, Palomar mountains
Chiron was born to our consciousness just six days after the total solar eclipse at 19 degrees 24 Libra, of the saros cycle 16 North. This degree later became the midpoint of Mo/Me in Chiron’s own chart.
Mo/Me midpoint is about ‘perceptions’, although the two planets are strictly unaspected, there is a square between the signs of Capricorn and Libra, which favours challenging conditions.
The pre-natal eclipse in the natal chart indicates an area of magnetic disturbance, which represents a problem area that is experienced during life. It symbolises the problems we are born to solve within ourselves, our greatest life challenge, and our hero’s challenge.
Chiron’s whole challenge is therefore to do with emotional [Moon] perspective [Mo/Me] and communication [Mercury].
After researching Chiron’s own chart and pondering over its life purpose, [which was very revealing] I became interested in seeing what would happen when I progressed the discovery/natal chart, would I see great events or timely comments?
After looking at a few progressions I realized that the chart was highly active, it forecast mass emotions, uplifting consciousness and amazingly Diana’s death!
Diana princess of Wales died 4.00am on 31st August 1997 Paris France.
Within two weeks of Mother Theresa’s death. Both women were mourned greatly in their passing, I wondered what Chiron’s expression would be at that particular time.
By SA I progressed The Chiron natal chart forward to 31st August , Paris.
The MC was directed forward to 20 degrees Virgo 03’at the time.
The midpoints at that time!
MC=NN=Eq/Jupiter = Moon/Saturn = Saturn /Pluto
Groups of people coming together due to a common interest, in an agreeable pleasant manner, with the emotional sadness of mourning during a very difficult time.
Chiron’s direction certainly showed the peoples emotion of the time.
I wondered if more information could be added by using the asteroid midpoints too.
With a few changes the reading became absolutely unbelievable.
Jupiter/ Juno; Dodi & Diana, a wealthy couple,
MC= NN; friends with the same outlook in life
Ju/Eq; wealthy /known people in the environment
Mercury/Ceres; impatient with details, or plans
Moon/ Hades; emotional breakdown, personal insult
Juno/apollon; criminal took the keys/ drunk driver
Chiron/ Admetos; Car crash, due to car being out of control.
Poisedon/transpluto; A bridge, the place of death
Sun/Ceres; unrestrained physical bodies, damage to upper intestines
Pallas/Ceres; caring –wisdom, paramedics
Uranus/Hygeia; shock to nervous system, a medical shock
Eq/ apollon; an inability to be heard
Pluto/Ceres; concern with details, care of dead, woman rebelled
Astraea/transpluto; inability to let go of people or the situation
Moon /Saturn; Emotional sadness, mourning
Nn/Hades; groups associations clear up
Chiron’s Solar Arc Mc with the addition of the asteroid midpoints described the event of Diana’s death with precision.
I then wondered if the degree 20 degrees 03 Virgo had any meaning in Diana’s chart and her time of death.
I looked at the transiting node, at the time of her death, it was approximately four hours after the accident in the Paris tunnel, which would have made little difference to the north node, the North node was at 19 degrees 44 seconds Virgo, not exact, but certainly very close and interactive to the mass consciousness represented by the ecliptic.
The midpoint 20 degrees 03 fell exactly on Diana’s Vulcan /Venus midpoint, and other midpoints were activated too.
The midpoints which were activated were; Mercury/Pluto=NN = Mercury /Chiron =Venus /Vulcan = JU = Moon/Vulcan = UR=VX

Me/Ch; car transformation, car crash associated with a bridge
Venus/Vulcan; Venus is often associated with death, myths of Venus going into the underworld and re-birthing as the morning star. Vulcan is also the destroyer of form, which on its own represents breaking out of the constraints of the mind, but with Venus the form is destroyed. Diana’s life was like one of the Greek myths itself!
Ju; in Aquarius, social reform
Moon/Vulcan; people emotionally destroyed

Vx; fated.
Chiron events appear to tell of “emotional mass consciousness” events, it was an amazing time, so many ordinary people mourned Diana, and most of England stopped to attend or watch her funeral.
