Galactic centre

The centre of gravity of the Milky Way, our galactic system, which all stars rotate around. At this moment in time the galactic centre is 26 degrees 56” Sagittarius.

Galactic alignment dates; Happen every 12,000 years and are half the precessionalcycle. Eminent European astronomer Jean Meeus predicted the event before happens every 12,000 years, half of the processional cycle as being, the date of May 1998 for the alignment. Many say December 21st 2012, in accordance with the Mayan calendar. The time of the winter solstice, in fact the alignment with the galactic centre goes right on up until 2019.
