In very basic terms it is the point of electrical balance (The vertex is the point of electrical connection). The GC is the point of homeostasis, energy comes in and energy goes out to create balance. Electrical = spirituality, therefore the meaning of this point merely indicates atheism, sometimes expressed as a non-belief in religion, but a purity of thought. A person’s inner truth even. It symbolises a point where the native will not ‘go along with another’s belief’. Whatever midpoint or planet is here, symbolises where there is ‘purity of thought'. In elementary electrostatics, beliefs are nothing more than charge attracted to another charge of opposite polarity. When one falls away, so does the other. It’s a point in the chart where ‘mud doesn’t stick’. We can’t upset another person unless they have a belief which we do not respect. Some religions call the GC a point of Karma, this point indicates clear vision, a point of purity. It’s the point of becoming like a child, openness, taking it as we find it. But if the point has hard aspects from Saturn, we may just find that this point is over-expressed.
Hitler had the GC in his second house of values. At his time of birth the GC was 25-26 degrees Sagittarius. The midpoints were Pluto/Node [mass meetings], Uranus/Neptune [idealism, inner vision, reform, revolution], Mars/MC [ political leader, occupation change], Venus/MC [objective love]. We see from these midpoints he adhered to nothing other than his inner vision. He didn’t believe in other's visions, it was his values not others.
For Helena Blavatsky, born in 1830’s, the Galactic Center was probably around 24 degrees, in the sixth house. The major midpoint was Mercury/Pluto, [communicating secrets, revolutionary writings]. She didn’t go along with the standard religious beliefs of the time. She started her own--theosophy. Also Vulcan/Neptune [destroying the form of religion], Moon/Mercury [perception, discretion]. She started a religion on what she perceived, uncovering older spiritual teachings.
Prince William (who we have seen from his life purpose will step down from being head of the British Church) has Neptune [church] conjunct the GC and a midpoint of Neptune/Asc [indicates a form of renunciation] in the 12th house. It indicates it’s a self undoing, he either wants it, or others do. I suspect as the GC is a point of ‘atheism’ he believes he should not be put in that position, and does not want to be head of the church. It’s against his belief.
Sai Baba, whose real date of birth is 4th Oct 1929, has Saturn conjunct the GC. We don’t know the house, as I have not rectified for an accurate time, but he has Sun/Venus and Mercury/Neptune midpoints around the appropriate degree. Saturn suggests a responsibility creating restriction of some kind. Sun/Venus gives us great popularity, a beloved man; Mercury/Neptune, visions and deep perceptions, a saint and a faith healer. He doesn’t believe in having any restrictions, so his inner joy allows him to have these perceptions and visions, and do healings.
On the midpoint sort, I found I shared Sun/Moon midpoints with the Dalai Lama. We both have these points within orb of the Galactic Center. His words could be my own. His teachings are all about ‘not letting the mud stick’--inner joy, peace, compassion [the highest Sun / Moon expression]. This point actually gives great freedom of thought, because anything becomes possible when we release ourselves from ‘belief’, we can see over the blocks which others may put there. This is also a very interesting position for a Buddhist spiritual leader. We can see from this point alone that he does not see the need for ‘religion’ [man made beliefs], possibly like myself he knows God is only one consciousness, a field that connects everyone and everything, an aspect of physics, whatever we think. So the Galactic Center shows us our point of purity of belief, ‘non influence from others’, atheism. It's a do our own thing point in the chart. It is the point of death on the tree of life--the inner knowledge.
