Moon

The Moon is the intimate partner of the Earth and the closest object to Earth in space. It has no atmosphere or magnetic field capable of supporting biological life, the Moon is thought by scientists to be the result of the Earth being struck by a large object. The Moon itself is pitted with many craters, and each is quite well documented.

The Moon is approximately 384,000Km from Earth, its rotation around the Earth takes 27.3 days. Sidereal. The Moons rotation is locked into its period of revolution around the Earth, so we only ever see one face of the Moon. The Moon is known for its huge crater “Tycho” possibly the result of an asteroid 100 million years ago.

The Moon is known to influence the oceans and their tides, pulling the water and creating tidal currents. It is the relationship of the Moons gravity and that of the Earth that causes two high tides a day, one every 12 hours and 25 minutes. This time interval reflects the Rotation of the Earth and the Moons rotation around the Earth. The Moon is the “timepiece” of the chart, it is what ages us and pulls us forward in time.

In another age the effects of the Moons aging on the DNA was held at bay by a science involving giant magnetic towers, a person would be strapped to a rotating table in the powerful magnets field, it also lengthened life.
