
This technique was shown to me by Meryl Hershey Beck while in Sedona on a reconnection healing convention.
This is a well known technique and many people who practice it may know it as EFT {Emotional Freedom Techniques}, but more importantly..IT WORKS!
It is a method of gaining “detachment” from any issue; it can be a fear, an upset or an addiction, a jealousy, or a loss.
It clears the pathways between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.
Just some uses;
Recovering from an addiction
Changing the relationship of a problem
Releasing a fear
After a trauma
Releasing emotional upset/ jealousy/emotional attachment.
Anything that has a powerful emotional reaction
Whatever pushes your buttons
Being hurt by another
The method simply requires tapping certain points of the body using two or three fingers while thinking about the issue.
First, note the level of discomfort, give it a value say between 0 and 10, where 10 is very intense, and 0 is “issue dissolved”.
The action is simply tapping the points and reading aloud the “quotations”.
“I release this challenge/issue to higher power [God/creator] to transform it and my relationship to it, never to take it back or passively receive it back.”
· 3 TIMES “I love and accept myself unconditionally even though I have this challenging issue.
“ I bring in higher power[God/the creator] into all the branches to the deepest roots of this issue and ask for healing for the highest good.”
· “I release all the sadness in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release all the fear in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release the shame and embarrassment in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release all the hurt and all the grief in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release all the guilt in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release all the pain in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release all the anger in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
· “I release the trauma in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
“I release all the energy invested in this issue so I can use that energy for my own well-being.”
“I totally and completely forgive myself for forgetting am doing the best I can.”
“I totally and completely forgive myself for allowing this issue to disturb my peace of mind.”
“I totally and completely forgive myself and I intend to forgive everyone else involved.”
“I totally and completely forgive myself and ask for the wisdom to see that everyone involved was acting from a place of unmet needs.”
Breathe normally and then re-assess the level of discomfort felt, or level of urge. If above 0 repeat steps 1-12 again until 0 is reached.
When zero is reached do step 13.
· “I bring in higher power [God /creator] to replace the issue of …………..[upset, sadness, urge etc] in all the branches to the deepest roots around this issue”.
